I know this has been posted a million times or more, but I have tried the various audio suggestions and I still cannot seem to get this lagging issue solved. Its doing it on SD mp4 files converted from SD dvd. I can get 720 HD file to play fine, it is only with SD mp4 files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. please?

anybody? Im sorry for this possibly annoying post, yet I have quite a few files converted and I ont want to have to try to do a ful conversion of all these files again. I am using an asus p5qe mobo, 4 gigs of RAM a HIS isilence5 graphics card on a windows 7 machine. Please any help would be appreciated.

Most likely your audio settings, have you tried setting:

Audio output: Analog
Speaker configuration: 2.0
Audio output device: "whatever you use"

If so & you still can't get stuff working, then we need to know what of of audio connection, and if HDMI how is that routed and from where (graphics card/motherboard) and what type of GPU (Intel, Nvidia, AMD model/version) plus also a debug log_file (wiki) of you playing something that causes the problem.
