Does XBMC Frodo (or perhaps even the next release) support TouchScreens as an input device (like a remote control), like the Thermaltake DH-202 on Ubuntu? Any recommendation/advice on such devices?
I'm looking at making a new HTPC for my mildly mentally retarded brother (about a 1st-2nd grade level). He is 65, farsighted, fat-thumbed and refuses to wear glasses. He has an old Popcorn Hour that seems to be dying. I modified the Popcorn to limit the UI to "file mode" and restricted the remote buttons to up/down/select/on-off/return. (I even have a 6-button programmable remote that I can give him.) He managed with this system but still had problems. Over time I have made several modifications to my XBMC themes to make one that I think he could use. What would be really nice is if XBMC worked with a touch screen. I don't dare give him something like a fancy remote. He will loose it or break it (like a 175lb. first grader with moist hands).
