Hi, there!

I've search many threads and couldn't find a solution so that I can display all movies except my documentaries (with Documentary as genre) and couldn't find a way to do that. I already have a custom node for Documentaries and I don't want to show them on my library. There must be a way to do that because I heard people saying that they have managed to separate porn videos from the main library but they didn't tell me how to do that so I can do that to my documentaries.

Any solutions?

You could do this easily with a smart playlist and a skin that allows you to include a smart playlist on the home menu while hiding the movies entry. Look up smart playlists.

Try Aeon Nox skin. With smartplaylist manager you can create custom home menu.

I already can create a smart playlist and a custom home menu but I need help on how to NOT to show up movies with specific genres (ie documentaries) on my movie library. I had the time to change all of the documentaries in order to include only the Documentary genre on them.
I want only my Documentaries to show up on my custom menu. That's all. I don't want them on my main movies library.

Any tips, please?

For Aeon Nox skin you can try - create a playlist where 'genre is not documentaries' and edit the home movie menu to use this smart playlist.
