MovieLib - Your movie database on web
hi there when I try to install it on my 000webhost.com I am getting the following error message, any clues why? They use PHP 5.2.17 MySQL version 5.1

There seems to be an error in your SQL query. The MySQL server error output below, if there is any, may also help you in diagnosing the problem

ERROR: Unknown Punctuation String @ 1
STR: <?
SQL: <?PHP
session_start();<?PHP
session_start();<?PHP
session_start();<?PHP
session_start();<?PHP
session_start();<?PHP

session_start();<?PHP
session_start();<?PHP

SQL query:

<?PHP session_start();

MySQL said: Documentation

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '<?PHP
session_start()' at line 1

Update:

I have now installed on a ArchLinux machine php, mariadb 5.5.37, apache, I get to the Install page, I put in the details for the mysql and then it changes to http://192.168.0.35/movielib-master/inst...on=success and I cannot do anythig. I already tried to manually create the database which I was able to do with the user xbmc and password xbmc... so I don't know what I am doing wrong here.
