Is it a known bug that the subtitles are not shown when watching LiveTV IPTV?
It is the problem in XBMC and not in TVHeadend.
I have tried with different builds of XBMC and different platforms and on none it is working. (the are not shown even if they are selected).
The last build that has worked was 13.0 alpha3 git:41061a8 (Apr 5 2013)

The same goes for live 1080i HDTV from satellit, only on sdtv is subtitle working

I have subtitles on 1080i HDTV from sat. (in fact subtitles on all channels)

I'm missing subtitles on certain channels too (both SD and HD), using Gotham. I can't remember if they used to work in Frodo or not.

Is there anything known why the subtitles are broken?
They do not display since april.

Hmm ok. But it does not look good. None of the developers seems to face those problems.
