Hi Guys,

Just purchased an MK808 after trying a friends out (on our TV). The problem is when plugged into our Samsung HDMI TV I get a "mode not supported" message on the screen. I have had a look around the net and saw one guy suggest powering it on after the TV which didn't work, and other people talk about firmware issues. Before I wander off into the unknown I thought I would ask here and see if anyone could help me out.

Anything someone can offer would be much appreciated.

no its not, but its possible that others with same hardware may be aware of workaround.

there is no harm in the op asking around, while he tries to get an English response from his supplier/manufacturer.

sounds to me like the error msg is from the telly, complaining about resolution being incompatible. if you get no real help, id try the player in another tv, and see if you can alter the resolution for the video output using the other display device.
