hey there,
has anyone luck to connect xbmc with xp and and external usb dac?
my sabre dac is recognized with xp, but xbmc only tries to play with my laptop (built-in) speakers..
system settings- audio output - analog
(foobar automatically changes from built-in speakers and plays with usb-dac connection and mutes built-in speaker.. )
but I like the xbmc surface so much
how can I get xbmc working with my usb dac?

Have you set Audio Output Device to the USB DAC, this is found towards the bottom of the audio settings list along with Passthrough Output Device.
