[OLD/CLOSED] PseudoTV Live - Set-Top box solution
Hello everyone,

Thank you Luna and everyone else for all of your very informative posts. I’m pleased to say that after reading through much of the meshes thread so far I have almost finalize my configuration. I was running into a few issues in terms of interleaving channels which I was hoping to see if it gets some help with.

I currently have a number of YouTube playlists which I have converted into channels. On one of my channels I have about six interleaved channels. One of the things in which I’m trying to do is to break up my television episodes using the interleaved channels as a form of bumpers.

Ideally I would like to not have any more than three of these “bumpers” in between shows but to still have these six channels interleaved at random. For example, I was thinking something similar to the below:

Episode > Channels 2,4,5 > Episode > Channels 1,3,4 > Episode > Channels 2,6,1 (etc…)

After reading through Milkman’s and some of the other guides, I still do not think that configured as correctly as what’s happening the channels are randomly interleaved but at times am getting between 4 to 6 bumpers between each episode.

By any chance does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might be able to configure this within my settings?

Being that Elixxen and myself both encountered this problem after a fresh install of XBMC, it kind of makes me think that it's a problem with an updated version of one of the dependencies. But I don't really know.

A PTVL dependency is missing it's required dependency... make sure you are correctly installing the modules through xbmc and not by unzipping.

Installing all the dependencies as zip files in XBMC seems to have solved both of my issues. PTVL now starts without a script error and XBMC exits without hanging. Thanks so much Luna!! I never realized that there was a preferred method for installing addons. Now I know.

So I'm still using interleaving like some kind of filthy pilgrim and I have a minor question. I have some channels set up to play interleaved YouTube channels and I'd like them to each play the most recent videos first, but the interleaving option for starting episode automatically changes if I input a variable too low. Is there a way I can force it start on episode 1?

Thanks Luna, by the way. I only tend to post when I have issues but I swear I'm doing my best to work them out myself prior. I love this add-on more than anything. You the best.
Ok ladies and gentlemen, I am having an issue with the EPG, everything works fine except the artwork. I have started from scratch. uninstalled XBMX, reinstalled, reinstalled Pseudotv live and dependencies:

artwork.downloader 12.0.29
common.plugin.cache 2.5.5
extendedinfo-master
module.addon.common-master
module.beautifulsoup 3.2.1
module.feedparser 5.1.3
module.metahandler-master
module.requests 1.1.0
module.simple.downloader 1.9.4
module.simplejson 3.3.0
tv.show.next.aired 6.0.11
(via install from .zip).

All my media has been scraped and have also clicked artwork dependency and downloaded extra art. I know I am missing something, I have tried fixing this myself off and on for past 2 weeks. What am I missing?

Guys, i have read over the first 5 pages bunt cant see an answer.

I have tried both the developer version and master version on the first page, and always get the error "failed to install" when trying to but this on my raspberry pi.

Is there a seperate version for Pi? I have installed all the dependencies as well with no luck
Hi,

I've installed XBMC on my Ouya and everything is working fine. I found PseudoTV Live and it looks awesome and really would like to use this add on. After Installing the add on, whenever I try to enable it, it displays an "error with script service.py". If I clock on the PseudoTV Live in program addons it actually kills XBMC and kicks me back out to the Ouya dashboard.

I turned on logging and this is what I got?

Is there a known issue with PseudoTV Live and the Ouya?
@cipherz
I had this issue on PC. A quick reinstall of pseudotv live and dependencies (installed through xbmc) seemed to fix the issue for me.

No one has any suggestions so far huh? Sad I'm kind of worried, I was hoping that functionality already exists for this and my settings were just really screwed up.

I thought it might be a good idea though to paste the contents of my settings2.xml in case anyone has any suggestions:

http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=269970

I think that "Channel 9" in this case would be the only one that I'm really having problems with interleaving.

If anyone has any ideas on how I might be able to resolve this please let me know. Thanks!
