I've been trying to figure out the best approach to in program channel managing for LiveTV and InternetTV...

Problem I'm having is the strings are too long for a user to manually enter (no one wants to copy one of those links manually into the manager).
So then the other option is to have a user select the feed from a list... which would be redundant to a feature i'm working on now... auto channel population from an external xml.

So this is how i'm leaving things... Master will be my stable beta that is out now... no planned channel managers...but...

I will be working on auto channel population which would allow a user to auto populate LiveTV or InternetTV from an external list... the user setting would be nothing more then a toggle button in the settings.
As for the channel manager, I will add full reading of LiveTV and InternetTV channels with an option to add a source from your xbmc favorites list...

Those two additions would replace the manual channel types 8 and 9... which I will still leave functioning to allow for settings2.xml compatibility... I will be making changes to the testing branch of my git if someone wants to help...

Tried this out earlier today. Looking really great considering its a first release beta. Nice job. I look forward to the other goodies you have planned for the final release as well.
One thing i noticed which might be something to consider, the first time i tried to load it it tried to start on the preset VEVO channel, but no video displayed, only the overlays. I pushed up to change channel and the preset MTV channel loaded no problem. I think it could be a regional thing that caused the VEVO link not to work for me (in Ireland). Only mentioning it in case I'm right and it could possibly make some people think it simply isn't working.

Quick question though, why does my EPG still do this instead of starting at the left? Is the epg still bugged?

As far as EPG if you started PTV before 6pm it will start with 5:30pm epg...
when did you load PTV? b4 5:30?

when does law and order start and end in real time?
when does funny videos start?

If you tune in before 6pm don't you want to see what's playing now? and the time bar in line with what time it is... or the best it can since it runs in 30 minute increments...

Did something change from how it worked before? I don't remember changing timebar or epg positioning? was it different in PseudoTV? let me know...

No, it was the same. I thought it was a bug or something. Nevermind I guess.

Edit, well NVM. I loaded up PTV again and this time it loaded the right way. Guess it just depends on when you open the channel.

If you want... you can start a list of little things you would like to see corrected (not added features) that aren't specifically problems with my build... but with PseudoTV in general. If they are worth looking into I'll make changes and request jason102 pull those changes as well...

You gotta take in mind... my addons were put on top of PseudoTV so if something was off in PTV, it will be the same here... Unless its an obvious problem!

I can't wait when the time comes that new features aren't added, So I can spend my time making PseudoTV Live look nicer! So much potential for enhancing the interface.

Not a bug, Fan Art should work for movies and tv... but not Livetv or internettv
later on I will add tvdb and tmdb support which will request that info and display it...
