Tonight's update will include "Auto" BCT's.

If all three B, C, T is set to auto. PseudoTV Live looks at your hide short clip count (if disabled, it's enabled).
PTVL will then fill 1 bumper per show and X amount of commercials and trailers till just under your hide count. (this ensures BCT's stay hidden).

Since duration's are random the amount of CT's between shows may be different, but most likely will remain similar. Increasing the hide clip size will ensure a more diverse mix.

Also to note, Hide short clips is disabled for all chtypes over 7. (ie., LiveTV, InternetTV, Youtube, RSS, Music, Last.fm).

I will beef up the logic for auto, when I have some free time to include mixing set amounts with auto. But for now all three have to be set to auto to work.

I hope I'm not the only one who doesn't know these acronyms...

Lunatixz, every once in a while PseudoTV will try to open a stream that doesn't exist. The process takes a few minutes before it fails with an error from XBMC. Is there any way to make this process smoother? I know this isn't exactly a PseudoTV only problem because it does happen with other addons that access internet streams.

HUH? what stream does it try to open that doesn't exist? are you talking about a stream you supplied for a channel? log?

As for acronyms, I only used two sets, that have been widely used here.

BCT (Bumpers, Commercials, Trailers).
PTVL (PseudoTV Live), Some like to use PSTVL, but I prefer PTVL...

The value should be set to 1. That rule basically sets the amount of episodes of the same show that are allowed to be played in a row. By setting the value to 2 you're telling it that it's okay to play two episodes of the same show in a row. Therefore, you should set it to 1 to achieve what you want.

Check out my post again. I want to play two episodes of each series in a row. It only sets the FIRST series to two episodes then plays one of the second. Then back to the first for two, it doesn't even play one of the third.

Hey everyone
just moved from TVHEADSEND to Argus TV server.
until now with tvheadsend i knew the URL of the stream (from vlc) and i could configure the channels.

any idea how i can do this with argus? cant find the URLS.

Using the master build from earlier today, the video osd (play, pause buttons etc) appears by itself a few minutes into watching videos. Just happens with pseudotv live.

also, have query regarding pvr channels. I use tvheadend as my pvr backend; when using the pvr:// streams do you still need to link it to an xmltv file or can it just get the epg data directly from the pvr backend?

I don't believe this is a bug with PTVL, but rather your setup....

Yeah that's my notification bar code not XBMC.... What you described was xbmcs info bar.

IMO your looking in the wrong place. I would look for stray keypress or stray xbmc activity....
