In that size room w/your SVS sub, I bet mighty thunderous Big Grin!

BTW, what kind of acoustic panels are you using? I have no idea what to get for my HT.

What i did was measure the room accoustics.
This with REW, see http://www.roomeqwizard.com/
and a good mic like umik see https://www.minidsp.com/products/acousti...ent/umik-1

You can get complete how-to's on AVS forum
Its not that hard

That why you can see what problems your room have, but basically it always comes to treatment of floor, roof side walls and corners

Another way to do it , is for subwoofer placement, do the subwoofer crawl (look on youtube)
And for the panels you can sit in your sweet spot in your sofa, and then ask for your wife to hold a mirror and start in the corner, and walk towards you along the wall..
The moment when you (sitting in sweet spot) see your speakers in the mirror, well there's your first reflection spot, and ther you should put your accoustic panels !!!

I created them myself, its not hard at all.
Using wood, make a square and put in some accoustic material
A good product for that is akotherm, but any fiber will do

I absolutely love my Marantz NR1606. Packs a crazy punch for a slimline AVR.

Finally some time to post an update

The idea was i wanted a larger screen
Because of the small room i had to move the speakers behind the screen.. So it should be accoustic transparant. I made it myself using black and white milliskin (spandexworld)
I even moved from 16:9 to 21:9 widescreen, cause all movies should be watched in scope !!!!

Cause of the speakers behind it, i could place my central speaker higher also at ear level, so again an improvement
The idea was to put the sub behind it too, but measurements told me that the svs pc12-nsd i had should be put in the back left corner , but more output and lower frequence was in front.
So i purchased a second subwoofer an svs pb12plus

WOW huge difference 2 subs.
I can recommend anyone
The biggest pb12plus is in front behind screen, it goes till 12hz !!!!

i finished my screen and this is the result

Nog eens een voor en na om beter te kunnen vergelijken...

edit: I must have missed the last picture; clearly it is a fiber-optic setup. Nice. What did you get ?

Yup fiber otic star ceiling Smile using Christmas Gifts one led
I had to drill 200 ! Holes for the fibers, so 200 stars!

Its the eurolite fib 206 from http://www.glowspecialist.nl/contents/nl...nging.html
