XBMC Live TV - HDHomerun - UK
#1
Hi

has anyone compliled a step by step to use Hdhomerun for Live TV on the Pi ?

I have carried out the following but can't get any channels to show up in XBMC

1 - Purchased MPEG-2 codec from Raspbmc
2 - Followed Silicon Dust Linux install guide to the letter - http://www.silicondust.com/support/hdhom...ads/linux/
with no problems
3 - Enabled TVheadend Server in Programs->Raspbmc Settings->System Config
4 - Added my HDHomerun Tuner0 and Tuner1 via Videos->Files->Add Videos->Browse->HDHomerun Devices

I can browse into Tvheadend - 192.168.1.xxx:9981 - but here is where I start getting stuck.

In Tvheadend - I Click on Configuration->TV Adapters - from the drop down menu I can see my 2 tuners (all be it they both show as HDHomerun ATSC)

If I select one of the tuners I am faced with another config page where I am guessing that I need to setup Multiplexes ?

If I choose 'Add DVB Network By Location' I only get a choice of USA or Canada muxes ... so I guess this is not an option living in the UK ?

So - I guess I now have to add muxes manually - I live in South London where my local transmitter is Crystal Palace. I have entered 800000(Khz) and set modulation to Auto. Whilst I can see that I have a signal - I have no idea where to go from here ? - no channels are showing in Tvheadend EPG or XMBC

Sorry for the long winded explanation but I'm hoping that I may have missed something along the way

Any help would be much appreciated
