Hi there
I am new to XBMC. I have always been using Microsofts Media Center, but at times this seems like such a pain to get it to work correctly.
Therefore I am looking for something else to use as a mediacenter.
basically I am an above average computer user (i work daily as a programmer).
My setup is:
- Asus 1501P Bluray machine runnning Windows 7 32 bits with 2 Gb RAM.
- Logitech Harmony 650 remote control
- 2 HD Homerun tuner in the LAN
I have full control over network, router, machine and whatever.
My current setup is Windows Media Center. I have remote access to the program guide via remote potato http://www.remotepotato.com/.
This is used a lot.
I have an account on TimeFor TV (http://dk.timefor.tv/) which allows my to fetch program data in XML format to import into Windows Media Center (A lot better than default windows method).
Now - general questions. I am basically looking for Yes or No - and mayby a link to futher help regarding specific topic.
1.
Can XBMC use HD Homerun tuners?
2.
Can I do some kind of remote access to program guide from both PC and smartphone (running Android) so I can see whats coming in the TV and schedule recordings
3.
Is it posible to stream already recorded shows via XBMC to i.e. my tablet or smartphone (again - Android)
Thank you for your time to answer these questions
Michael
