Here's a look at my setup.
PVR Backend is Mediaportal.
Main Mediaportal Server is setup on the Bedroom HTPC, the Client runs on Asus Laptop
Skin Running on both systems: Arctic

Remote: Microsoft MCE

All Media and TV cards for Live TV are shared from the Main setup in Bedroom

I'd definitely recommend the PVR, I've tried a few but the easiest to me has always been Mediaportal.

Love the Miles Davis poster. Named my son Miles, wife #1 wouldn't tolerate Thelonious as a second name...
