Release iHeartRadio
#46
Hey everyone, I started working on this againRolleyes

I pretty much started from scratch and got the basic stuff working for the most part, I think.

Try it out and let me know how it goes. Download and install from zip -> https://github.com/divingmule/plugin.aud...-0.0.5.zip

There's more features I want to add, favorites and stuff, but this is a start.

Thank you - you rock!! Installed, and a couple of quick observations:

- Some channels print garbage (stream info?) on the screen while playing as shown here
- Searching gives me an error when searching for certain markets. For example, Pittsburgh, PA

Otherwise, working as expected. Thanks again for your work on this. Let me know if I can help further.

Yeah, I hate thatConfused I don't think there is anything I can do from the plugin side of things. Something internal pulls that info from the stream. To bad it's not parsed correctly, the name of the current song and artist are usually listed. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Kinda sounds like your using the file manager, just to make sure, do this from the home screen -> system > addons > install from zip file > then browse to the zip file.

I have installed the plugin now on my E2 box, but i have a problem to find my requested station/stream. I want to get this one:

Classic American Top 40
http://www.iheart.com/live/classic-ameri...p-40-6545/

But there is no search function, "only" a list of favorits, but my sream is not included, there is also a menu point named menu where cities listed, but if i selcet them the message after a a few moments of waiting says: "Error! Try another item OR exit and submit log /tmp/e.log. More info in 'Tips' in first screen", doesnt matter which city i select, always the same.

main menu

setup menu with city selction

From where came this list of ratio stations?
How i can add my requested stream?
Is there no search function?

@xyladecor Yeah cant really help without a log. Normally the log file would be something like /temp/kodi.log I've never seen one that is named e.log, see here > http://kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Advanced#Location

Hi,

It's working great here. Is there a way tho to make it not switch stations automatically after a while?

Thx

Yes i understand, without a log its not possible to say anything, have no idea why nothing is written in the log. It seems the only chance i have is to wait, that it maybe runs with an update. Thanks for the plugin and the support, nevertheless!Smile
