Kubuntu - mkv playback better in Dragon Player
#1
I hope somebody will be able to help. It might be an issue with nvidia driver, reported before, but I am not sure. I have an extensive library in MKV format (x264 i think) but there is a difference in playback quality between Dragon Player and xbmc. There are some slight distortions of the picture on the upper third of the video when using xbmc.Quite annoying.

Now, can I do something to fix this as it is much more convenient to use xbmc?

My hardware is standard Asrock Ion3d (atom d525, nvidia ion2).
Software: Kubuntu 13.04 using proprietary nvidia driver 304.

Regards,

Odisej

Can you make a photo?
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
