I am setting up an Ouya for use in the bedroom and so far, so good. I just have one small issue : When I go to add the TV shows on my server to the library, one show in particular causes the system to freeze completely.
I can manually add any other show one at a time, but any time I attempt to scan this one the whole system just hangs, for hours if left.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do not have this issue on any of the other computers on the network. All others are able to scan this show.

Which show? Also, post a debug log (wiki) of when you try to scan it.
