Can Ember move movie file from subfolder and delete subfolder(s)?
#1
Is it possible with Ember to move the media file (movie file) from the subfolder to the movie folder, and then delete the subfolders. I've many movie folders this way, so I search for something to do this in batch.
As an example I take the movie "Bikini Spring Break", with path:
D:\MOVIES\Bikini Spring Break\EPCSKGCWZCXDJEH\DVD\P2HBSB5.iso
or (show as folder structure)
D:\MOVIES
------\Bikini Spring Break
---------------\EPCSKGCWZCXDJEH
------------------------\DVD
------------------------------\P2HBSB5.iso

So I want to move the movie file (P2HBSB5.iso) into the folder "Bikini Spring Break", and then deleted the subfolders "EPCSKGCWZCXDJEH" and "DVD".
I want to obtain this D:\MOVIES\Bikini Spring Break\P2HBSB5.iso . In this way it's a folder structure that can work with XBMC, and I can change the file name with Ember to the movie name. So finally I want this D:\MOVIES\Bikini Spring Break\Bikini Spring Break.iso

I've got also movie folders with 1 subfolder instead of two as in this example.

So is this something Ember can do? Because I've not found it yet.

EMM can't but Windows Explorer can...

Just browse to your movie folder i.e D/:Movies then use the search box and search for the file extension i.e .iso or whatever then highlight the files, cut then paste them into a new folder.

Have EMM point to the new folder and rescan your files.

Rename your films with EMM (although I'm not sure if it does batch renames) or maybe therenamer then you can use EMM to sort them back into folders based on your new filenames.

Hope this helps
