Is there any how-to on how to start from scratch installing a windows 7 or 8 (doesn't matter which one to me) and then installing xbmc and making it work with bluray discs using whatever is needed as external player. And I also want to use an MCE remote to control both xbmc and the bluray/dvd player in a 'seamless' way.
I don't need exact specifics.. just general guideline as I am moving my main htpc from ubuntu to windows to be able to get bluray player.
I would prefer an up to date guide. I could probably have found it if I searched through every post in this forum but they all seem focused on a single problem or really old. like how to playback bluray using bluray-player v1.ancient on dharma.
