Hi guys,

Sorry for the noob question but have looked everywhere. New to this and am having trouble setting up local movies/tv shows on xbmc on the atv 2 and was wondering if there was a general guide floating around? All I've found are guides on OSX.

Ok, so is it like plex where I have to have xmbc running on my mac in order for my local movies to work on the ATV? Or can I just have my mac on without xmbc running and play movies on the ATV?

Set up NFS (wiki) or SMB (wiki) on the Mac and use that.
