Hi folksBig Grin
OK if I log out of xbmc and login to xbmcbuntu for ease of working with hard drives etc..
I can't see any hard drive icons in file manager.
I am used to gconf-editor and then adding links to hard drives on desktop - but can't see that in dconf-editor.
How do I enable this so I can move stuff easily from hard drive to hard drive?

Are the disks mounted in either of the directories /media/ or /mnt/ ?

Mount the disks by adding them to the file /etc/fstab . Google 'ubuntu fstab' there is plenty of info and how to's.

Hi teeedubb!
They are already mounted but don't show up in media or mnt but I can open individual files and work on them...just want access to whole hard drive via icon on desktop...

Another thing that is bugging me...my password keeps getting corrupted?
