I was previously running XBMCbuntu on my hard drive but now I am booting openelec off an SD card.
xbmc is still installed on the hard drive.
but when i boot openelec off the SD card.I cant see my library files on the main hard drive.
everything is still there when i boot xbmc off the hard drive
but how can i get to my media files when i boot openelec off the SD card?

In my experience openelec mounts all drives it finds in the computer. You will need to add them as media sources though.
