I believe there is a typo in the PR.

Quote:3. Real-time rewind (also known as Baid-style) is supported for some emulators

should read

by the way.... Awesome job!

Thanks to garbear, all contributors and testers.

It looks like at the release of the next stable XBMC, we can all just quit our day jobs and play video games until our bodies fail us, because the ultimate goal of humanity will have been achieved.

Damn! I hope it does. See if they'd be willing to put it to a vote via the forums. I know which was it would go.

options:

1) Delay gotham final release for retroplayer
2) Release gotham on time and leave retroplayer for next version

I guarantee option 1 would get picked 2 to 1. Gotham doesn't look as feature rich as many of the previous releases.

I'm really onboard with Retroplayer, but delay Gotham? No way. Think about it... If every release was delayed to add a new feature we'd still be on version 1.0.

I tend to agree except I feel that this is not just any feature. This is a game changing feature (pun intended). I sincerely believe this is one of the most inventive features available in XBMC.
