RetroPlayer Test Builds (updated for Nexus)
I have have setup the PS3 Controller in KODI 18 and it navigates all my menus. I go to launch NES Emulation or any emulation and the game loads. Once it loads the controller will not control the game. Any help on the setup here. I have tried using the controller wired and wireless.

This is a bug I've observed on Android. I think the controller is being assigned to Player 2 instead of Player 1. Can you try a 2-player game?

I use Estuary Mod skin, is it ok ?

The skin will need game support.

Also i have a Nvidia Shield v2017 with it's controller, a 8bitdo F30 Pro controller and a wireless x360 controller with a chinese dongle.
So if you need specific test, just ask Wink

This will come in handy when the new Player Manager is ready for testing. Check back in a week or two!

When wired the ps3 remote shows 1st player. Wireless the remote is 2nd player. It does not respond in the game for either. 2 player games don’t work either.

I should also note that the L2 and R2 triggers seem to double click when configuring the remotes.

Can you upload a debug log?

Sounds a lot like the Linux kernel bug which sets 2 controller inputs (1 and 2) to the ps3 controller: one for the gyroscope and one for the other buttons - right?

I think this has been mentioned in milhouse thread since about July or so

I have also tried a Logitech wired dual shock controller and had the same issues. It controls everything right up until you start the emulation.

No log was linked to? Can you upload to a pastebin website?

I'm hoping to kill input bugs once and for all with the new Player Manager. This will let you see (and change) which controllers are for which players. It'll be a lot easier to diagnose these problems when it's done. I'm hoping to finish this in two or three weeks.

Awesome, I will test as soon as it is available!

New builds uploaded. It's been a months since the last one, and it's gonna be a while before the Player Manager is ready, so I figured I'd do a build in the meantime. Especially because Windows 7 was broken on the last build, which has now been fixed.

The database refactor is targeting Kodi 18? I ask this for the save states (and in game saves?)
