I wrote a netplay layer that tunneled Game API calls across a TCP/IP network, but it was too slow to be suitable for gameplay. My next attempt will probably use source from an existing project, like RetroArch or Dolphin.

Think in Retroarch you need to portforward to use netplay. At least when I failed to use netplay with a friend.

Is still empty, and the old location only got some old builds ;P

New builds are posted! Get them while they're hot!

Hello lrusak
How to install the libretro core addons in the libreelec build(s)?
I don't see them installed at all, and my game sources don't detect any files of any extension.
I am running on rpi2.
This all worked fine on the previous OpenELEC buids.
Thanks!

If it doesn't prompt your to install an emulator when you select a rom then you will have to install the addons manually via the addons menu.

The only game related add-ons in the repositories (that I found anyway) were controller profiles and a libretro helper addon.
No libretro core add-ons so I am not sure how it is supposed to work now.

Thanks for that. Only for information would you create builds only in libreelec so openelec isn't the plattform you would use in future?

And a second question, is it possible to create a build which i could use with a bootloader like BerryBoot?

Thanks.

emulators are in, add-ons --> get add-ons (the little box icon with an arrow) --> install from repository --> libreelec retroplayer addons --> game addons

I will only be building for LibreELEC. Sorry it's already enough work to provide the four builds that I do.

Hmm.. I don't recall seeing a repository by that name. I do think kodi-game repository was there, but it was empty.
I will check for that tonight, thank you.

Unfortunately Game Addons does not show any Addons. Neither in libreelec retroplayer Addons or kodi Game Addon Repo.

Also for me empty

1) Make sure all add-ons are enabled. Kodi might (bad kodi) disable any add-on, so check that all add-ons are enabled. Then double-check. EVERY ADD-ON.

2) Check for add-on updates

3) Browse to "Install from Repository" and open the menu on the left and enable "Hide incompatible add-ons"

4) Try to install game add-ons

5) Post debug logs

I've gone into irusaks repository - game addons - emulators and tried to enable them but they are listed as incompatible - logs - http://xbmclogs.com/pdjv7f0pu

Thanks.

You could try to rename SYSTEM to LibreELEC.img128
it worked last time i used OpenELEC.
