Hi,
I have managed to run XBMC on a raspberry Pi for quite a while. I've recently move into a flat and am attempting to reset everything up again. I don't have a direct internet access but have manage to link via BT wifi with fon. As far as I know it has connected without asking for connection passwords etc. but when I try to download an addon nothing happens along with attempting to create new movie library from harddrive... Arrrg! (my frustration)

I guess I need to find out if if BT wifi with fon works via a rasperryPi as it works fine on my Mac. Any help would be much appreciated.

I get my net from sfr, which gives me fon access through BT when I'm in the uk. IIRC you can connect without passwords but you need to enter username / password in a web browser to do anything. I may have that completely wrong though.
Is xbmc working on your Mac without having previously entered a password outside xbmc?
A log might show what's happening.
