I saw that suggestion. This will only work for 2 of the 6 livestreams from RT however, as the other 4 are still not migrated to YouTube (not sure if they plan to do so).
I am creating my very first video plugin myself, for CGTN... so in the process of learning. It all goes pretty smooth... kodi is well documented and the websites of CGTN have nice rest API's to enumerate livestreams and videos.
Hence my question to take over the maintenance of this plugin... as I think it is useful and I like it
