I've tried your addon, and it works beautifully! Big Grin

I was wondering if you would be so kind as to look into adding a "news" section for this add-on?

I've taken a cursory look into the python script and the website html content, my guess is that its format should not be too different to what you have already done to view the clips on the catchup channels. Huh

As I'm overseas, the http://toggle.sg pages aren't available to me. I will add the http://xin.msn.com/en-sg/video/news pages which are not as comprehensive, but are accessible overseas, soon.

Cool! Its great to know that you would be able to take a look..

Oh, I didn't realise that the http://toggle.sg site isn't accessible overseas. I checked out http://xin.msn.com, and realised that it splits the broadcast into individual issues. My preference would have been to keep a single news broadcast to do a quick catch-up on the day's news.

Putting that aside, your add-on has helped the community (I use your add-on, and find it useful to me).
I really appreciate you putting in the effort to help the community. Big Grin

You will receive this when the content is geo-blocked by Mediacorp. I've been looking into what, if anything, can be done to allow playing the shows. I've been experimenting with a proxy, but the ones I've used so far are too slow for use outside of Singapore. This seems to affect mostly Channel 8 shows in Mandarin which are produced by partners.

Noted, thank you for you effort. I am using VPN to watch right now and it works perfectly. Thank you for such a wonderful addon

Hi, receive script error in this 2 days even using VPN (Singapore IP). I am using Hola. Anyone having same problem

This looks like either a VPN, a geo-block problem or just a very slow connection which is timing out. It looks like when you access Channel 8 you don't get back a list of programs, is this correct? If you are trying to access a specific program or episode which is failing, please let me know which one. It might also help if I know where you are located (you can PM me if you want). I also see a bunch of errors for the sgtv plugin which seem to be the same. Are you able to access Channel 5 and any programs on it?

Yes, Both mediacorp and sgtv have the same script error. Can't even open the list of programs. But with S'pore selected, I can access other addon? Will try again later.

When you say " with S'pore selected" do you mean on the VPN or something else? BTW even with geo-block you will get back the list of available videos (you just can't play them) so I believe that either the VPN is not working, blocking or slow to the point of getting a curl timeout.

Hi, It's VPN issue. Deleted Hola and reinstalled and everything works fine now. Thanks for the help
