I just purchaced a Bluetimes MX5 Dual Core as a second player for my Bedroom I already have an Apple TV2 with XBMC for my living room which works great anyway I have a few Questions about the Bluetimes MX5 Dual Core.First is there a Linux Build for this player as so far I haven't found one.And Also I was told to change the XBMC that it comes with to Frodo version is there a certain way of doing this and is there any specific tweaks that can make this Player work better.Thanks I appreciate any help

seems they have no linux version for this player
also this player comes with bundel with MX PLAYER, otherwise can not play.
mx now have one linux version developed by XDA

I switched mine over to xbmc frodo 12.2 and it works much better up to 720.

Hi I have these boxes and they are much better on Frodo12.2 than the XAF version they shipped with. They do have a new User Interface firmware which I believe is Linux based, available now on their Facebook page and there are a few minor bugs but it is very good. They also provide Rooting details on the same page.
