Hello
Have installed the lastest Nvidia XBMCbuntu
Have a 210 nvidia card with hdmi video and sound connected to a receiver and then to a 52" tv
2 problems
1. When I log into XBMCbuntu I can not read the text on the desktop it is too small and not sure how to fix it.
2. Sound works in XBMC interface once I selected the approriate outputs but when in XBMCbuntu I have no sound output

I could really use a hand on the sound issue
I have been through numerous threads now
pretty please help me I want to watch netflix lol

Okay still having problems with sound
I have XBMCbuntu installed. Sound works find in XBMC
No sound in XBMCbuntu desktop or I think it is LXEubuntu but not sure here

this terminal command gives me white noise through left front speaker in desktop enviroment

I could really use some help here

You need to set your default sound in the operating system to be the device that wirks in XBMC. You can do that with an asound.conf file.
