please excuse my bad english, but i wanted to make a suggestion, and didn't knew where, when not here!

so, my problem is, that i have many many rar-files on my pc.

i use the smb-network to watch my movies per xbox on tv!

so now, i have over 100 gb movies, and the most of them are still packed and password-secured.

so, if they were just packed, it would be no problem, but the problem is, that i can't watch a movie, which is password-protected, if i'm too lazy to unpack it.

so my suggestion would be, to bring their a enterbox, where you can enter the password from the archive, if you want to open one with the xbmc.

what do you think about it?

the stage is all set, the support is already there, just not been made accessible from the gui yet (that is rar files, zip files is another story).

if you're interesting in working on it, i'll be glad to provide details.

but i'm not able to do things like this, i'm not very keen in the coding stuff

Anything ever happen with this. Is there a way to "bulk" unlock rar files. Without fully extracting them?
