You see the difference? -> recheck your polkit stuff. Post those two files.
Yes, I see the difference. Here my custom-actions.pkla file

"Post those two files." Witch is the second?

How can I switch can-suspend to yes?

Code:
dpkg -l |grep linux |grep image
should tell:

Quote:ii linux-image-3.12.0+ 4.0 amd64 Linux kernel binary image for version 3.12.0+

ii linux-image-3.12.0+ 4.0 amd64 Linux kernel binary image for version 3.12.0+

Ok, then I've already got the mentioned kernel.
Hi,

I'm going crazySad, everytime I want to play a mkv the whole system freezes. Already did kernel update, no help.

Any Idea?

Play something local, please. To rule out upnp errors.

@fritsch I can confirm the consolekit pkg add exposed more proper options in the shutdown. I would have figured it would have been a dependencies in the list of packages installed but I guess so, sorry for the issue just never had the problem since I merely shutdown.

Jep, it was a dependency on Raring, therefore not needed separately. I added it.

Local files freeze even quicker, no way to grab the debug logs.
But if you like i'll try to grab before...
No idea - the logfile ends unexpected :-)

and freeze is always bad. Remove the radeon.dpm=1 make some memtest.

got a Problem here with DTS-HD-Audio. If I passthrough DTS-HD-Audio I only hear a scratching noise on all channels. Normal DTS and AC3 works fine. Here are the log-files:

I already tried to replace the edid file and also set sync to "audio clock". Any help would be great.

I've got an ATI Radeon 6450 connected via HDMI to my Samsung Receiver HTD5550. Here the technical specs from the samsung site:

Dolby TrueHD yes
DTS yes
DTS 96/24 yes
DTS-HD yes

http://www.samsung.com/ie/consumer/tv-au...50/XU-spec

Thanks to fritsch and ansii I finally know that the Samsung Devices only supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD only with blu-ray playback. The EDID from the HDMI-IN of the Samsung HTD5550 shows that it only accepts DTS and AC3 as input Audio.
Concerning the suspend issue: I could not find out what is wrong on one of the affected systems.

If somebody else has ideas, feel free to help. I will ignore suspend / polkit / dbus / upower / udisks question from now on.

That ***** ff******ing complicated system is going on my nerves.

How did you get the EDID info? I would like to check my Samsung player as well. Thanks

The cmyth pvr plays fine with team-xbmc nightly

here's something important: reverted back to xbmc-fernetmenta-master, and if I turn off vdpau, cmyth pvr plays fine (wish I had tried that first)

is there anything I can do to help diagnose why vdpau doesn't work with cmyth?
Ubuntu 13.10 | 10TB | myth .27 - HVR2250 - HVR1250 | XBMC Gotham | Radeon 4550
Linux Mint 15 | XBMC Gotham | IntelHD4000
Openelec Custom | XBMC Gotham | Raspberry PI
Cyanogen 11 | XBMC Gotham | Samsung GSIII
Does vdpau work with xbmc-nightly?

Provide logfiles with both versions.

Good afternoon. Tell me please. I tried to install XBMC for instructions(step-by-step). DTS-MA does not work(silence) and have dropped frames any video. Maybe I need to make any additional settings?
AMD E1-2100(Kabini) with Radeon HD 8210(m/b - ECS KBN-I/2100)
Post the logfiles from first page.
Kabini is heavy, heavy work in progress.
