Intel SPDIF works for me as HDMI out, I don't know why because I don't use the s/pdif out...
@MTroi
Enable all accelerations and try different Deinterlacing-Methods.

I had the same problem with my AD02 and i've disabled MPEG-4 accel. too and the problem dissapeared.
After some more research i've seen that this "blinking blocks" only appear when some Deinterlacing-Methods (VDPAU) are selected. Hope this helps
New mesa build from the test ppa working perfectly for me. No more stop bug.

Shuttle XS35GS V3 with Cedarview Atom D2700 and AMD Radeon 7410M (which for some reason is always detected as a 6430M).

Everything works even after multiple suspend / resumes.
thanks for the feedback, hope its solved for everyone

when testing, I've found that the file
H.264-444-10bit-sample.mkv doesn't work anymore.
I'm running the latest updates that I can get via the update manager.

should be fixed by https://github.com/FernetMenta/xbmc/comm...7c4778d04b
Updated to mesa 10.0.4 and stop bug is gone. Thanks to everyone involved!
I installed the latest version of everything and now i have black screen, sound works realy good.
My hardware is a ATI 3610.

My log files are here:
dmesg | http://paste.ubuntu.com/7159042/
cat ~/.xbmc/temp/xbmc.log | http://paste.ubuntu.com/7159046/
cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | http://paste.ubuntu.com/7159051/
DISPLAY=:0 vdpauinfo | http://paste.ubuntu.com/7159054/
dpkg -l |grep mesa | http://paste.ubuntu.com/7159055/
You used trusty as a base and you combine 10.0.2 mesa vdpau with 10.1 trusty.

Totally not supported not very smart to do this. -> Use xbmcbuntu v13 in the relevant testing thread, if you really want Trusty.

Install an appropriate graphics driver.

HI. Can someone kindly tell me the address of wsnipex's test ppa ? I am not too familiar with ubuntu

This is currently what I have when I set up the HTPC
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:wsnipex/mesa

What do I need to change the above line ?

Thanks.
No need to change anything, packages have been copied over - so the howto will install the 10.0.4 packages directly.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

First of all i must Say thanks to this howto!

But i have some problems with The sound.

I have noticed that for some reason xbmc is using Pulseaudio. I havent installed that, Fredh install of Ubuntu 13.10. I Also in xbmc have HDMI redwood digital stereo 2.0.

My gfx card is a Radeon hd5000 serie.

And one other strange thing is that i cant find any passthrough option in xbmc. Maybe i dont need that one?

I know you guys wants logs and i Will update My post with logs ASAP. Im at work now.

And of i Remove pulseaudio i Saw that Ubuntu-desktop package Also gets removed. Is it safe to Remove that one?

/bootdisk
The howto tells you to install Ubuntu 13.10 mini iso - do that or use xbmcbuntu v13.
For pulseaudio read: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=PulseAudio
