Add source by JSON
#1
Hi guys,

I've been working on a little Windows application to play any media file from your local PC to your XBMC. It's slowly starting to do what i wanted it to do Wink

So for my setup script i wanted to add a SMB share to the XBMC, so the setup would simply run on my PC without any interaction at your XBMC. However i wasn't able to find any description for that in the JSON-RPC documentation.

Is it possible to add a source through the JSON interface or is there another way to do that on an XBMC running on another system?

Thanks in advance!

JSON-RPC doesn't support this at the moment.
Always read the online manual (wiki), FAQ (wiki) and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail Team Kodi members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules (wiki).
Please read the pages on troubleshooting (wiki) and bug reporting (wiki) before reporting issues.
