This actually looks (and sounds) like a great project to back. Unfortunately with SteamOS just around the bend, I (and I can't be the only one) am holding off on low spec android hardware to see what the minimum specs are for SteamOS.

Exactly and hopefully we will be able to have a streamOS version of XBMC Wink

Meh. Groups like this need to do a lot more to stand out of the crowd these days. Also, a little less hype. A team of developers to pre-install XBMC and mod an existing skin? Really?

Ouya might be interesting but from Version 2.0 for the hardware, the one at the moment is limit with fps and no HD audio.
