I just want to say thank you to everybody that helped me I am a complete idiot and had things Hooked up incorrectly I now have sound..basically I had my Playstation and cable hooked directly through stereo I had no souand cable from TV to stereo so I took an optical chord from TV to stereo its all good now...I thought I had that so basically nothing for sound with comes from TV because of that thank you again everybody sorry for wasting your time
