Remember that you respond to the first post in a forum, If you don't make use of quotes. That's the one who did start this thread.
Perhaps an other solution to your problem would be making use of a chromecast device.
I did buy one a few weeks ago, it's working very well.
With chromecast you can cast movies, tv episodes etc. from your android device to your tv. I am making use of an openelec device, also not working with this addon.
Since a few weeks I am making use of two devices connected to my tv, an openelec device (aurora) and a chromecast device.
I also have a htpc lenovo q190 (windows 8.1), which does have problems with this addon also. But from within the windows chrome browser I can cast every website to my tv also, making use of the chrome chromecast extension.
I don't make use of this addon no more, to much problems.
