I'm trying to clean up some old things and I've never had a good answer to this. How do most of you go about having multiple special editions of movies?

What I'm trying to discern is how to handle things like Apocalypse Now Redux, Watchmen Director's Cut, Star Wars Despecialized Edition, etc, etc.

I don't know if it matters, but I primarily use the built in scrapers, and I store everything via mysql.

I use custom NFO files. A long time ago I started exporting my database into separate files, so I've got NFOs next to every episode and every movie... it's trivial to copy one, edit it and use that when I scrape in a new "special edition" programme.
