J1nx seemed to think it was something to do with network library shares, and if you just use addons and don't define any library sources then it doesn't lock up. I never confirmed this. I think the devs are well aware of this issue and Corey has intimated that the next release will hopefully address the random lockups. It really is the one issue that stops MX Linux from being perfect on the ATV1200.
