For kodibuntu users experiencing compilation issues: for me using the --recursive flag in the git clone command solved the problem.

I use Kodibuntu with Hyperion and Adalight. However, I have the problem that the startup with rc.local not work for me. Hyperiond is running, but nothing happens. Only when I log in with root privileges and then end hyperiond, and reboot it works. Sometimes it takes several attempts here.

Hi, may I ask, will or is it possible to run the hyperion addon für XBMC on a android xbmc mediaplayer?
My openlec systems runs fine with the addon, but I want to change it to a android xbmc player and there the addon seems not to send the right infos to my hyperion server.

Also interested in whether Hyperion is available on non-Raspberry Pi OpenElec machines (x86_64)?

I have a Revo 3610 (Atom 330) that is currently using boblight with an adalight set up, but I would love to try Hyperion.

Anyway to get Hyperion on it?

Try Kodibuntu instead of Openelec. I can't see a big difference in a normal x86 system Wink

Sorry but another question. I cant get my LED strip to light but it looks like hyperion is ok. Any suggestions? I installed the android app and you can the Json conenction attempts.

When I run /usr/bin/hyperiond /etc/hyperion.config.json the leds light up for 2-3 secs but that is the only light I can get out of them

You do not have type defined in config. I assume it is based on arduino and adalight.

if you still have problem you can might change /dev/ttyUSB to /dev/ttyACM0

i think it doen´t make a big difference but mine ist running as ttyACM0 Wink
