Hi Bry,
On your remote client, can you access the recorded tv folder? In other words, if you type this into the start menu:
\\WIN-MINI\Users\Public\Recorded TV\
does it open?

working locally doesnt mean the share is setup OK because when running server and client locally, the local paths are used. It's only when you have a remote client that the share path is used.
It seems like you need to do basic windows troubleshooting and share configuration. Ideally you dont want to have to share your whole "C:\Users" directory, so it would be best to just share the recorded TV folder and change the UNC path to \\ServerName\Recorded TV
You should make sure you have file sharing turned on in windows and also in the advanced networking options you do have a setting to "Turn off password protected sharing" if you are happy your home network is secure and you dont want to deal with users and passwords and so on. Somtimes with Windows 7 and onwards it can be good to have both PCs in the same homegroup as well.
Basically, completely unrelated to our addon, you need to get the folder shared on the server, and need to be able to access it as \\Machine\Share from the remote PC via windows explorer or whatever. Get that working first, then configure ServerWMC with the share path, then your client should work
