tried last version from 10-04 and working fine since 2 hours zapping songs, videos and pictures on landrive. charset is set to english on landrive and default on xbmc.

my codepage has been set to 'english' while that of xbmc 'default'. i've also tried changing xbmc to other settings but it didnt help. fyi, firmware version of my nas is nas-basic34.

having the same problem as dinkydong. using t3ch 4-10 with a usb hdd hooked up to a linksys wrtsl54gs and only one folder shows. reverted back to t3ch 3-28 and everything works. have two xboxs here with t3ch 4-10 and both have the same problem. here is part of my log also. keep in mine that all the files it failed on, were not in the directory is says but in the root folder.

actv-mc360skin.mp4 was in smb://wrtsl54gs/videos/ not smb://wrtsl54gs/videos/dredg/ but i did show up there with crazy numbers as a size, something like 46gigs. under smb://wrtsl54gs/videos/dredg/ was another folder that never shows.

thanks for the help but i've managed to resolve the issue. firstly, i'm using mapower kc-31n nas using firmware revision 34 which is the lastest on the website. later i found a newer revision 39 firmware at the german website. upgraded firmware to revision 39 and still the problem remains. finally, took the plunge and flashed hotway's latest revision 41 firmware into my kc-31n, viola problem solved! xbmc is working beautifully! so people, if you have kc-31n nas, upgrade to revision 41 firmware to resolve the imcompatibility issue with the latest xbmc.

secondly, are you saying a folder shows up that doesn't even exist or that the files are not supposed to be in it?

do you have problems with all files or only some? if it's only some, could you try it with files and folder with no special characters like space, -, _......

folder structure is as follows.

16 mp3 files in the root folder.
2 folders in the root folder:
"angelfish" folder with another folder called "angelfish" and 10 mp3 files in that.
"a change of pace" folder with another folder called "an offer you can't refuse" and 11 mp3 files in that.

in the root folder, everything displays correctly and mp3 files can be played. if going into any of the folders off the root folder, the root folder is just duplicated instead of showing whats actually in the folder.

if u are using usbex landrive,, u should have any folders in the root exept public, or maybe others that u have created in the html interface, when i had folders on the disk that the landrive havent created it when haiwirred (freaked out).

also interesting in your log that xbmc crashes when you shut it down.. will look into that too.

could you try a mp3 with no spaces, underscores or any odd characters. (that applies to the folder it's in too).. just report back if it works or not, don't need the log for that.
