It's affecting some users and causes your favourites to not appear when editing a nox5 menu.
As it seems to be affecting more users than I originally realised, I'll ask for the repo to be updated with the fix. In the meantime, if you're comfortable doing so, you can install the fixes branch on github
that is what i was trying to do, but i couldn't figure out how i could set a favorite?
As said, if you're wanting to select something you've added as a favourite, it looks like you're experiencing the bug I mentioned. The request for the fix to be added to the repo has now been submitted, though it will probably take a couple of days before the repo is updated,
If all you want to do is link to an add-on, or even a folder within an add-on, then either select "Add-on" from the main menu default select action, or use "Type" to get to add-on's in a submenu. Then you can choose any add-on and, in the case of plugins, can explore them to find the folder you want within them, before selecting "> Create Shortcut to Here"
Edit - if you're having trouble actually setting something as a favourite, whether or not the menu/submenu's show your favourites, open the context menu and select "Add as favourite". If your problem is something else, be much more specific about what problem you have
thanks so much for the help.
yes, i didn't know how to set an actual favorite. i don't use the context menu much since i don't have that button programmed on my harmony so thats why i stupidly couldn't figure it out. thanks.
