Hi all,
I've got a shared NAS and shared MySQL database on a server, with a couple of ATV and R Pi clients. I'd like the server to be able to do periodic content scanning and database update, without having to run full-fat XBMC all the time. Is there any content scrapers which support this?

I'm also curious about this for the same reason. My only other machine other than an RPi (just upgraded from my ancient P4 box) is my laptop which I don't want to leave XBMC running 24/7 just to keep the database updated. Would be cool to just have a standalone daemon for the scraping and updating portion (that can have external triggers. ie: Sickbeard's notification system which uses XBMC's web server) that could be run on a NAS.
