I need help choosing a nas I need raid 1 and it to be under $150.00 these are the ones I've been looking at any suggestion

Hmm would you not look at Synology instead better performance, more addons, more options, frequent updates, nfs, MySQL support and a pretty decent GUI.
Or else a Qnap 2 Bay device yes they cost slightly more but they are miles ahead of Buffalo, Lenovo, Trendnet and Zyxels gear.

How is that relevant? I'm pretty sure with a budget of 150$ storage is not included.

Basically in performance they are not really much different. I know though that for example QNAP has some nice little features like mysql db.

No drives are not included In the $150

Spend the extra $50 or wait for a sale, they have them all the time. I have this one, and it's great. Has a great and easy GUI, easy to map drives to multple PCs, and even detected the UPS that I hooked it up to.

+1 for freeNAS for a dedicated NAS distro

+1 for a custom GNU/Linux solution if you want to expand it to infinity
