It didn't work, didn't get the password reset email either.
I also tried to create a new account (username=BigMat) I didn't get the confirmation/activation email
I even tried t connect with my Google account, but I got a server error (get_headers(): https:// wrapper is disabled in the server configuration by allow_url_fopen=0)

I have for the account "hatbrox" generates a new password and sent by e-mail. I deleted the second account.

Np.
I have tried the create a new account: no problem, I have received the activation email with password, after activation I can login with this password without any problems. I think you don't have see this activation mail (maybe lands in spam folder).
But Google ID does not working, I will check that later today.

We are testing BugGenie out too and it often lands in the spam folder. Also still some issue with it because we use components. Hopefully it will be solved in v3.3
