Addon from home screen

Question
Hi,

Newbie here,

I am adding a 'shortcut' to addon on the home screen via:

<onclick>ActivateWindow(videofiles, plugin://plugin.video.youtube) </onclick> (example)

Now sometime (on first launch of xbmc for example) the addon needs time to fetch data from the net, during this time there is no indicator (ie "Working"), just a blank screen with some ui elements.

Is there a way to show some indicator?

Cheers,
Ilia

When loading an addon from within their relevant section you get the busy dialog popup but if you load them from the home screen it doesn't show. If the search takes some time it appears that something has gone wrong as you're left with an empty view.

I've confirmed this with music and video addons (Digitally Imported and The Trailers) and the same thing happens with both.

Thanks.
