i can access subscene.com in my web browser, find the subtitle i need, but when i search by this addon, i got no subtitles found ? hope someone will fix this soon

I found out that this issue occurs when look for subtitles for series with a year in the series title - like "Name (2015)" works fine for others without a year included.

I can confirm that this modified version of Subscene is working perfectly for me.

Looking at ithe addon..

I don't think there's anything there you can configure.

It looks as though it's dead. Maybe the script from this link can be modified

It has a cloudflare bypass that needs to be updated. There are several python scripts available that do this, so maybe we just need someone with programming experience to combine them? I used to program but it's been so long if feels like a lifetime ago. Can the kodi installation run node.js scripts?
