Since I did a clean install of XBMC using their wizard I have had difficulty in playing live streams of any kind. Any attempt to play them is met with an error box which says "External Player Active - Click OK when playback has ended", but nothing ever plays.

I have come across this You Tube video which shows you how to resolve the problem. The only problem I have is that I don't have the wizard mentioned in the video

Any suggestions on how I can change my settings without the wizard or an alternative way to resolve the issue?

Most of the "wizards" out there just load up crap you don't need or sometimes even break setups. Just use a nightly build (wiki) of XBMC for Android (ARM).
