Basic NUC please

Sorry if its been asked but you can't search for NUC as its only three letters

Anyway as post says I want a basic NUC to run just XBMC with no pvr or disc drive
Must do 24p, only a small SDD as everything saved to NAS.
Keeping cost down is main objective. Plus is there a seller doing an all in one package?

Am currently running an old 'huge' HTPC with Openelec and find it fine. Just have another use for it. Also a raspbmc which apart from being sluggish compared to the HTPC does all I need.
Current HTPC seems like overkill so basically want a fast RPi

Thanks

If I am right then the celerons won't do 24p and the cheaper i3's don't have a LAN Huh? What idiot designed that one?
Looks like it is an expensive way to go to get something better than a RPi?
Maybe itx is cheaper

If by 24p you're referring to perfect 23.976Hz playback, you need a Haswell integrated GPU to get that "feature" which none of the "cheap" NUCs has.

24p is apparently accurate on the Bay Trail NUC

That's surprising given the Ivy Bridge integrated GPU

They haven't made a new architecture for Bay Trail, but they apparently have fixed the bug.

That's great news. Maybe it'll be fixed in Bay Trail-D motherboards (should they be more than vaporware).
